Publisher Ankama Games is welcoming players to try out two of their games, Maliki: Poison of the Past and Savara, during the Steam Next Fest. The demo versions are available now on the respective games’ pages.
Coming from developer Blue Banshee, Maliki: Poison of the Past is a unique mix of exploration, temporal riddles and turn-based fights in a colorful package. Led by the enigmatic Maliki, a handful of temporal survivors have joined forces and are coordinating their efforts from the Domaine, a haven outside of time that is so far safe from the threat.
You play as Sand, using your Chrono Pack to manipulate time, fight the monsters that have infested past worlds alongside Becky, Fang and Fenimale, a wacky and slightly magical band of characters. Dive into a universe full of magic, a family of endearing characters, and a story full of nuance and emotion, all of which carried by a sharp wit and satisfyingly original anime visuals.

Meanwhile, Savara is a rogue-lite action developed by Doryah Games. You’ve been invited to take part in grandiose festivities organized for the pleasure of Iop the warrior god. These aren’t your typical celebrations – they were designed to put the most valiant fighters in the dimension to the test.
Each victory brings you closer to even more fearsome challenges, and each defeat is a lesson that will make you stronger. Use the resources you obtain during your fights to bolster your weapons, improve your equipment at the blacksmith’s, and make offerings to the divine statue to garner additional favors.
