Digital Extremes has unlocked the Warframe: 1999 demo for Tenno to try across PC and consoles right now.
If the hype, soundtrack and stunning trailer weren’t already enough enticement, players can try out the new demo for a huge Warfrmae update and grab rewards at the same time. Digital Extremes has just unlocked the demo for the next big thing in its sci-fi RPG. Players across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Mac, and Nintendo Switch have access to try out the upcoming content and visit the Origin System under a very old moon.
In order to access the available demo, players will need to install Warframe and complete Vor’s Prize — Warframe’s introductory Quest and tutorial. Once you’ve managed to make it through the base prerequisites, you’ll be able to slip back to an alternate 1999 and a timeline where Y2K doesn’t play out quite the same as it did here. Follow the Drifter and navigate Arthur through a myriad of powerful enemies as you hunt for the infamous Albrecht Entrati. Set events in motion that now lead to the past and future converging and hopefully try out the Atomicycle bikes in the process. The new demo looks set to give players an initial look at the action, combat, and characters that are the key to this storyline, but I’m not sure if there will be time for dating sims quite yet.

You can’t survive the hunt for Albrecht Entrati without some extra stopping-power, however. Play through the Warframe: 1999 demo to receive the Protokol Longsword Skin. This will be sent to in-game inboxes on completion. The skin might not be the only reason to play through the new demo. The content is just achingly cool. Just take a look at the demo trailer and listen to the newly released soundtrack single, ‘The Call.’ Prepare to head into Warframe: 1999.
