Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel have announced the PC release of their turn-based roguelike Mewgenics. Players can pick it up on Steam with a sweet 10% discount through February 24th.
Mewgenics, as the name implies, centers around “the perfect army of whiskered warriors” that is sent off “on tactical adventures in search of food, money, and loads of treasure.” Sounds fun, and Steam players think so too. As of this writing, the game has scored well over 3,000 “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews.
Nothing offers a better perspective on what the game brings to the table than a new launch day trailer. Viewers are treated to a look at the game’s features, graphics, and environments.

There’s a lot to look forward to throughout the 200-hour main campaign. There are 10+ character classes, each with 75 unique abilities. 900+ wild items and 200+ enemy bosses will keep players busy. The game is never the same twice thanks to its roguelike progression. Lastly, choices matter.
