Turtle Beach is expanding its Vulcan keyboard lineup with the Vulcan II XP Full-Size Mechanical RGB Gaming Keyboard, bringing a combination of hot-swappable switches, per-key RGB lighting and extensive software customization to its full-size design. The biggest addition is the keyboard’s TITAN HS mechanical switches. Available in Red Linear or Brown Tactile variants, the switches are rated for up to 50 million keystrokes and come factory pre-lubed alongside pre-lubed stabilizers.
More importantly for anyone who likes tinkering with their keyboard, the Vulcan II XP supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches. That means individual switches can be removed and replaced without soldering, whether you’re replacing a worn switch or simply want to experiment with a different feel. Integrated sound-dampening foam is also designed to cut down on unwanted noise and vibration.
For gaming, the Vulcan II XP includes full N-Key Rollover and anti-ghosting, along with Turtle Beach’s ReacTap SOCD technology. The latter prioritizes the latest directional input, which is intended to make movement and counter-strafing more responsive in competitive games.
The keyboard also features EASY-SHIFT[+] technology, allowing players to assign secondary functions, macros and shortcuts to keys. Game Mode activates ReacTap while locking the Windows key to help prevent accidental interruptions.
RGB customization is handled through Turtle Beach’s Swarm II software. The Vulcan II XP features per-key AIMO RGB lighting, with support for Windows Dynamic Lighting, and Swarm II allows users to remap keys, create macros, customize lighting and manage up to five onboard profiles. The keyboard is also compatible with most third-party cross-shaped keycaps, giving owners another way to personalize the look.
Other hardware features include a dedicated multifunction media wheel, detachable soft wrist rest, brushed aluminum top plate and a detachable USB-C cable positioned on the left side.
The Turtle Beach Vulcan II XP is available for pre-order today, August 26, for $149.99, with a launch scheduled for October 25, 2026. It will be available through Turtle Beach and participating retailers.
