Undertail Partners With Square Enix For New Merch Collaboration

It’s been a decade of friendliness pellets, spaghetti jokes, and heartwarming chaos for Undertale. Now the indie classic is getting a full-blown anniversary celebration thanks to an unexpected but very welcome collaboration with Square Enix. The publisher has rolled out the first wave of global 10-year anniversary products, blending nostalgia, style, and a little bit of that signature Undertale weirdness.

Square Enix’s announcement promises music albums and apparel. The initial release under this collaboration is Undertale Chitei de Chill, a new “chill-arrangement” album featuring 20 reimagined tracks from the game’s original soundtrack. Following that will be a piano arrangement album titled Echoes Beneath, produced under the guidance of renowned composer Yoko Shimomura. This release features 15 tracks from the Undertale soundtrack, arranged and performed by handpicked artists, all wrapped in new artwork by official illustrator Temmie Chang. On the merchandise side, Square Enix and its partners are offering multiple Tees that are now available for pre-order.

Unlike many special drops that remain limited to a single region, this collaboration is going global. Square Enix says the products will be available worldwide, giving fans in North America, Europe, and Japan a fair chance to add these items to their collections. Given Undertale’s international fanbase and long-standing community, an official worldwide merch pipeline likely means earlier and easier access for many fans, especially given shipping and customs concerns.

Undertale turned ten in 2025, and this collab with Square Enix feels like one of the most substantial celebrations the game has seen yet. It’s not just about rehashing nostalgia. With new music reinterpretations, high-quality arrangements, global merchandise, and official backing from a major publisher, this rollout could help introduce Undertale to new audiences while giving longtime fans premium items that honor their love for the game. As the first album drops and merchandise details roll out, this collaboration might just become a template for how indie classics celebrate longevity. Whether you’re after a chill version of “Megalovania,” a collectible jacket, or a deluxe desk mat, the Underground may be offering goodies that’ll make the next ten years feel just as special.
