V Rising - Update 1.1 Invaders of Oakveil is Out Now

Developer Stunlock Studios is back with exciting news: bloodthirsty RPG V Rising received its major Update 1.1: Invaders of Oakveil!

For centuries, Oakveil stood as a beautiful wooded sanctuary, its verdant wild paths untouched by the chaos of civilization. Now, a corruption flows through the veins of its beating natural heart, a poison threatening to spread across all of Vardoran.

Secret rituals, heart-wrenching venom, and black magic. The Serpent Queen Megara emerged from the mist, driven by dark mysteries on a relentless mission of destruction. Surrounded by her loathsome raiders, the Venom Blades, every shore she touches withers with corruption.

“Explore the Oakveil Woodlands, learn the secret techniques of the Venom Blades, and face the Serpent Queen herself in a showdown of nocturnal apex predator and arcane prowess.”

Here’s the short overview of what you can find in-game with Update 1.1: Invaders of Oakveil:

  • New zone: Oakveil
  • New bosses & enemies
  • 3 new weapons, 7 new spells
  • Reforge weapons
  • Craft from your treasury
  • New Castle decor
  • And much more!

Additionally, the game already received the very first hotfix released for the update. This one is a server-side patch that takes only a few minutes to apply. The developers also urge players to report any issues they encounter with the game. Here’s the list of known bugs & fixes.

  • Fixed prisons getting stuck with the wrong inventory state.
  • Fixed an issue where Jewelcrafting stations could be dismantled while crafting.
  • Fixed an issue where an arena was allowed to set up multiple contests at the same time, which could cause some odd interactions.
  • Fixed an issue with admin commands where GiveCombatPreset could put a user in a progression locked state.
  • Mortium Rift Incursion Interval setting now has its values restricted only to valid value options.
  • Fixed an issue where DLC was not properly connecting to Steam authentication, causing DLC items to be inconsistently unavailable.
  • Fixed an issue in server host settings where values for maximum connected users and maximum connected admins could be set to negative numbers, or numbers above the 128 hard cap.
