Valorant Champions kicks off September 12 through October 5th, so it’s high time to check out the official anthem! Developer Riot Games shared the brand-new music video “Last Shot”, featuring templuv & 347aidan. The star of the video is undoubtably Phoenix, developers’ favorite fiery son. You can find it above.
templuv and 347aidan will perform the anthem live for the first time during the Opening Ceremony at the VALORANT Champions Finals on Sunday, October 5 at the Accor Arena in Paris.
“We’ve been playing VALORANT since beta, so getting a chance to contribute to this universe was a full-circle moment,” shares templuv. “We’ve lived those clutch moments ourselves, and tapping into that gave us a chance to really push and play with templuv’s sound in new ways. It’s wild to get to be a part of this world and we can’t wait for other players to hear it.”
Valorant is a free-to-play game of precise skill, high stakes, lethal gameplay, and clutch moments that reward creative gameplay styles. It pits two teams of five against one another, with the action taking place across a number of rounds.
Each player takes on the role of either an attacker or a defender that is part of a diverse cast of hypernatural, battle-ready agents from real-world cultures and locations. Each one has, of course, his or her own special set of abilities that can be used tactically to each team’s advantage.
