Poncle and Nosebleed Interactive celebrate the release of Vampire Crawlers, a spin-off of the famous game Vampire Survivors. For this occasion, the developers prepared a launch trailer, featuring key features and gameplay elements. The new project is nothing like its predecessor, featuring dungeon crawler gameplay mixed with deck building. The game is available for PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation.
Vampire Crawlers is a turn-based roguelite deckbuilder. Players have to explore maps, level up powers, and obliterate monsters. The game features a combo system and a set of cards, which allows adapting the deck to the player’s style. Moreover, familiar survivors from the original game are ready to come for aid along with legendary weapons.
Key Game Features
- Deckbuilding: Players construct decks and play cards in ascending mana order. Each card multiplies the effect of the previous card in the sequence.
- Combo System: Wild cards allow extensions of card sequences up to 10, 20, or 30 cards. Players may choose between deliberate tactical pacing or rapid turn execution.
- Progression: Experience points earned during play unlock new cards and upgrades.
- Exploration: Chests contain power-ups and gems used to augment cards. Legendary weapon evolutions and iconic survivors trigger cascading effects.
- Dungeon Environment: Dungeons feature interactive elements, including functional walls, unique treasures, and hidden interactions. A shovel allows progression to lower floors.
