Gametopia and Assemble Entertainment have announced that Verne: The Shape of Fantasy is coming to PC via Steam on August 14th. In a unique twist, players will be able to roam through the “fantastical mind” of Jules Verne while exploring pixel art settings. The goal is, of course, to discover the secrets of Atlantis.
Developers are excited to share their vision of the world in 1888. Players take on the role of Verne as he travels alongside Captain Nemo and the crew of the Nautilus. The new trailer showcases narrative gameplay action and locations that players will explore.
As players explore, they will use the IMAG device to rewrite history and change Verne’s fate at key moments in the story. Players will need to solve puzzles and fully explore the game world to uncover all of its secrets. Classic adventure games inspire the game with secrets lying in even the dustiest corners.
