Warframe Celebrates the Year of the Horse with Lunar New Year Event and New Heirloom Collection

Warframe’s annual Lunar New Year celebration is back, and this year it’s all about embodying the confidence, courage, and freedom of the Horse. Digital Extremes has kicked off the limited-time in-game event with a fresh batch of cosmetics, themed bundles, and even some free rewards for Tenno who log in and get to work. The celebration runs now through March 11, 2026 at 11 a.m. ET, giving players a few weeks to snag everything before it leaves Warframe for another year.

Headlining this year’s festivities are new cosmetics for the Dagath Warframe, the Kaithe mount, and a variety of ship decorations. The Dagath Yfari Collection, Year of the Kaithe Collection, and Lustrous Lunar Renewal Collection each bring ornate skins and themed flair that lean heavily into the elegance and symbolism of the season. If you have been looking for an excuse to refresh your fashion frame, this is it.

There are also several free rewards available for players willing to jump into the action. Through in-game Alert Missions, players can earn the full Dagath Warframe set, including Blueprint, Chassis, Neuroptics, Systems, and 10,000 Credits, free until February 18 at 11 a.m. ET. The Bingwu Glyph is available at no cost via the Market, while the Lunar Renewal Horse Emblem can be picked up from Baro Ki’Teer. It is a generous spread of items that makes participation worthwhile, even if you are not planning to splurge on premium bundles.

Outside of the seasonal event, Digital Extremes is also introducing the Vauban Heirloom Collection. Created in collaboration with community artist Lua_Luminary and development partner Sumo Digital, this new cosmetic skin offers multiple style options including a jacket, vest, or shirtless look. Unlike the limited-time Lunar New Year offerings, the Vauban Heirloom Collection is a permanent addition to the Warframe Marketplace, giving fashion-focused players something lasting to invest in.

Between limited-time Lunar bundles and a permanent Heirloom skin, Warframe’s latest update delivers both seasonal celebration and long-term customization options. For Tenno who treat style as seriously as their loadouts, the Year of the Horse is shaping up to be a very good year indeed.
