Following the introduction to Cogg, Ra’akhti, Haymar Devos and Epione Spes, developer Owlcat Games is back with another companion to join the roster of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy. Meet Way Seeker Laarthyr Cairnareth, an Anhrathe who left his Asuryani kin and craftworld.
He has psychic powers that even the most powerful humans would not dare wield and a handful of unreliable mon-keigh allies fighting by his side. Against him stands an entire Imperium that would like nothing better than to see his annihilation. While his kin seek safety and camaraderie among their own kind, Laarthyr alone has stepped into the abyss, following a path only he knows.
When the path of the Acolyte crosses that of Laarthyr Cairnareth, you will have a choice: purge the accursed Xenos, or put your enmity aside for the sake of survival. In the latter case, the aloof and arrogant Corsair will become a valuable ally.
But this is a decision that will bring the acolyte one step closer to being branded a radical.
