With Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy beta live now, it’s time for the Acolytes to do some digging and delivery the utmost gaming experience. The first hotfix is already available, with some changes big and small.

Mechanics

  • During the fight with the Corpse Nexus in the Phantom Space, its concentration could be interrupted – fixed;
  • In some cases, the first round of the battle could freeze right after the battle started – fixed;

Visual

  • The guy with the crate in Bastion Serpentis was given a name. However, the whole team is still tirelessly working to teach him how to move crates properly;
  • An acolyte in Bastion Serpentis tried to hide himself in a globe. He managed to get out of it safe and sound;
  • One suffering guy in Bastion Serpentis didn’t look as if he was suffering enough. We fixed his attitude;
  • Fixed the issue with a cutscene in a shooting gallery in Bastion Serpentis;
  • Fixed some pink textures;
  • The cutscene with Quartermaster Numis could be partially blocked by walls and other geometry – fixed;
  • After clicking on the servitor, the character could be moved to another corner of the Archivum Serpentis – fixed;

User Interface

  • After a cutscene ended, the camera could move to another part of the map – fixed;
  • When comparing two items, their tooltips could interfere with each other. We fixed that – now the equipped item is shown on the left and the item to compare it with – on the right;
  • A double-click on a portrait didn’t force the camera to move towards the selected character – fixed;
  • The appearance hiding feature didn’t work in some cases – fixed;

Localization

  • Some russian lines were present in the interface and dialogues – fixed;
