Owlcat Games has released a major update for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. The patch brings significant performance and visual improvements, crash fixes, and compensation for launch issues.
Moreover, the studio issued a formal apology, acknowledging that they underestimated the technical challenges of porting the game to Nintendo Switch 2. Thus, all additional content for the console is now free, including Deluxe Pack, Void Shadows and Lex Imperialis. However, for the regions where DLC can’t be entirely free the studio set a minimal possible pricing:
- Malaysia: RM5
- Philippines: P$50
- Singapore: $1
- Thailand: THB25
- Japan: 100 yen
- Korea: 1000 won

A physical version for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 is launching in October through Silver Lining.
The future updates and bug fixes are already in work. The future optimization update is already prepared, awaiting certification, due for release soon. The studio promises to keep supporting the game and listen to the community feedback.
