Developer Owlcat Games shared the newest gameplay trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader – The Infinite Museion DLC. The update arrives on June 11 with a batch of new content: new story, new companion, Augmentation feature, and much more.
Much like the previous DLC Lex Imperialis and Void Shadows, The Infinite Museion will feature around 15 hours or content spread around the various chapters of the game.
Lord Captains will join forces with Eogunn Februs, an eccentric Genetor Extremis of the Adeptus Mechanicus, on his search for forbidden knowledge. He seeks a way to extend the functioning of the human body and firmly believes that the xenos’s own technology can be turned against them and therefore doesn’t shun its study, in spite of many believing this to be heretical and blasphemous. Such beliefs will likely pit him against some of the more Dogmatic-minded members of your retinue – that is to say, about half of your companions.
Speaking of overcoming the flaw of the human body, the DLC will also introduce a new Voidship compartment, the Sector Bionica, that will be your way to experience the brand-new Augmentation system. Flesh is weak, and installing powerful cybernetic and bionic implants will allow you to take part in the brand-new layer of character progression.
Last but not least, delve into a secret vault curated by Trazyn the Infinite himself. Discover Trazyn’s obsession with the Von Valancius dynasty, and choose whether to disrupt or fulfill his plans. Explore a glimpse of his fabled collection, claim priceless relics, and face off against guardians that defy understanding.
In the future, Rogue Traders will also venture into the Processional of the Damned in DLC#4.
