Developer Saber Interactive shared the latest Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 community update. In it, the team provided more details for Siege, the new game mode arriving June 26th. First, the devs urge you to take a look at the teaser to get the first taste of the battle to come, you can find it above.

First things first, Siege is not a DLC, it is a free update for all! Up to 3 players will get dropped off right in the middle of action on Kadaku. You will get to fight waves and both Tyranids and Chaos, with difficulty gradually increasing after each defeated wave.
Your class and weapon progressions are shared between Operations and Siege Mode. Prepare to hold your ground and survive as long as you can against endless enemies, as only in death does duty end.
The game mode will be playable on the Public Test Server starting June 4. Other features, free and DLC Content, are coming with Patch 8.0 in June.
