Developer Warhorse Studios, famous for the Kingdom Come: Deliverance series, took to the official X (previously Twitter) account to share a brief glimpse into the future. Fans might have heard the rumors before, but this is an actual official confirmation of two titles in development.
At the moment, the studio is working on an open-world Middle-Earth RPG and a new Kingdom Come adventure. There are currently no more details such as the timeline, plot, release windows, etc. The team revealed that they will share more once the time is right.
It is exciting to think about what Warhorse Studios is cooking, since both KCD games featured simulated living world filled with NPCs that react to the protagonist in a myriad of ways while keeping to their schedules; quests that can be tackled and solved in different ways; highly immersive medieval experience and rewarding character progression.
All of these strong sides can come in handy when developing a new game, but the real question is: where does the developer go from here? What new exciting features will the two upcoming games have, and what impact on the industry will they bring?
