If you’re having a nostalgic moment for one of the ’60s most iconic sci-fi TV shows, Scary Robot has you covered. The team has released a new demo for Lost in Space: The Adventure Game that is based on the kitchy show rather than the Netflix series from a few years ago. The Robinson family, Dr. Smith, and Robot all return in their ultra-mod velour outfits to revisit some of the series’ legendary episodes. Now, fans can check it out thanks to the demo available on Steam. A Nintendo Switch version will arrive at a later date.
Lost in Space: The Adventure Game features
- The game lovingly recreates the wondrous world of the beloved 60’s television series in this “fourth season” spiritual successor.
- Match wits with some of the original series’ most nefarious villains, including Saticons, Invaders from the Fifth Dimension, the Giant Cyclops, and more!
- The game uses dialogue taken directly from the show as well as the original music, including the iconic theme songs!
- Work your way through tons of challenging puzzles along with a multi-tiered help system to ensure that you’ll never get stuck.
- Movie mode (coming soon) – are you a fan of the show but not a gamer? Then grab your popcorn, select movie mode, and enjoy a non-interactive cinematic experience with your beloved members of the Jupiter 2.
The point-and-click adventure game will arrive in episodes that will be released over the course of several months, with the first one coming later this year.
