It’s Wednesday, my dudes! To celebrate such a glorious once-a-week occasion, Netflix revealed the teaser trailer for Wednesday: Season 2, scheduled to arrive on August 6. If you’ve missed the quirky tone of the show, the wait is almost over. After all, wherever there is murder and mayhem, there’s an Addams.

The first season of this black comedy premiered in November, 2022. Wednesday Addams, portrayed by Jenna Ortega, is expelled from high school by dealing with her brother’s bullies in an unorthodox way: dumping live piranhas into the boys’ water polo team’s pool. Forced to do so by her parents Gomez and Morticia Addams, she enrolls into Nevermore Academy, their alma mater and a private school for outcasts.
However, her adventures don’t stop there. By using her inherited psychic abilities, she goes on to solve a local murder mystery while the danger looms ever closer to her person and her roommate, Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers).
In the second season, Wednesday expresses a desire to return to Nevermore Academy, though things have hardly gotten mundane there. New season, new school year, new adventures and, of course, new dark humor await this summer!
