Prepare for a magical winter Witchbrook launch when the wizarding life-sim comes to PC and console in late 2025.
Chucklefish has confirmed that players waiting to sign up for lessons in a mystic school will be able to get away form it all during winter 2025. The anticipated magic life-sim Witchbrook is now slated to land on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox at the end of the year, giving us all an excuse to get out our fancy hats.
The new dropped during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct and the inclusion in that direct to consumer showcase means we get a trailer too. The newest look at what’s expected gives us a look at the vibrant seaside city of Mossport, the surrounding woodlands, and the enchanting grounds of Witchbrook College, Once you get there in person, you’ll be able to explore this idyllic pixel art realm, see the sights, and interact with the locals as you start your new life as a pupil in the most prestigious magic academy of them all.
This spellbinding trailer teases the fourth in-house title, with co-development support from Robotality, and will include an expansive world for players to get lost in. This witch sim invites up to four players to enrol in co-op and become a witch-in-training at Witchbrook College. Lessons aren’t life, however, and you’ll all have an opportunity to explore the wider town, make friends, find romance, and spend your free time how you like. Go foraging in the woods, sell crafts in the mark4ts, or find the perfect fit. Express your unique aesthetic with customisable clothing, hair and accessories or take that creative spirit to your room and renovate a cozy woodland cottage.
There’s a definite laid back vibe to this. I don’t think you’ll be heading out to wizard up any dark lords in this one, and that’s fine by me. If you’re looking for an expansive way to witch your way, then take a look at the official website ahead of the winter Witchbrook launch.
