The developers from crea-ture Studios and publisher Nacon have announced a top-down metroidvania Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Rageborn. The reveal came along with the first game trailer, featuring both gameplay and developers’ comments. The game promises to take players back to the World of Darkness, known by the Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines series.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Rageborn is a supernatural horror game set in Alaska wilderness. The Earth, personified as Gaia, created the Garou, a legendary werewolf, to protect the balance of nature. Players take control of Taylor and become a last hope of the world, caught between the human world and the spirit wild. He has to fight Wyrm, the creatures who feed on humanity’s greed, violence, and ambition. They spread their influence through polluted cities, corrupted spirits, and the megacorporation Lethe Labs.

- Three Playable Forms: Players can shift between human form for interaction and precision, wolf form for speed and stealth, and werewolf form for close-quarters combat.
- Rage Mechanic: Combat momentum increases Rage during battles, allowing access to enhanced states. Players must manage control over their character during these states.
