Developers from the Everstone Studio have shared a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming open-world adventure, Where Winds Meet. This time, they showed a breathtaking view inspired by Wuxia and 10th-century ancient China. Moreover, the trailer features different in game situations such as a fight with the goose and the mahjong game with a group of dogs. The gameplay part also shows the fighting system, acrobatic moves, and other activities available to the players.
Where Winds Meet is an open-world action-adventure RPG, where players take the role of a wandering swordsman, and they embark on a journey to solve mysteries of their own identity and find their place in the endless world. On the way, they will live through the intrigues and power battles of China’s Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. From the majestic capital to the long forgotten corners of the wilderness – every path they take will be layered with adventures.
The fighting system of the game is built around Ways of Wuxia Combat, with the different weapons and martial arts. Either swords, spears, or mystic martial arts – everyone can forge the style to their liking. The style and weapons can be changed mid-fight, which makes the battle strategy dynamic and flexible. Moreover, the game has to offer an RPG element, with different factions, charismatic NPCs, and fate-shaping choices.
