With the successful nature of Ghostbusters: Afterlife and the end credits scene (spoiler) we see Winston Zeddemore bringing in some fresh blood for the new squad. IllFonic is bringing us a 4 v 1 Ghostbusting experience in quarter 4 2022. It is a first person shooter with all the nuetrona wanding, ghost trapping, and stream crossing action that you might be looking for from the franchise.
There are several ways to play this new title including playing as the Ghostbuster crew and playing as the Ghost. Playing as the player you will be able to upgrade your weapons and select your characters in the iconic firehouse location. Here is where you will talk to Ghostbuster Alum, Winston. You will be able to pick up missions and also visit places like Ray’s Occult to speak with Ray Stantz himself. Playing as a ghost allows you to haunt items as you attempt to scare people and hunt the ghost catching squad. You will be able to call in other minions to assist you as well as teleporting through portals to go from one place to another very quickly.
This will be fully cross-platform as you can choose to play from PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X/S. If you don’t have a full squad to play with AI characters will fill the voids. You also have the ability to play solo mode offline.
