The developers from WeatherFell announced the release date for the cute retro platformer Windswept. The portal back to the 90s opens on 11 November, inviting all players to experience the genre in the way it was invented. The developers promise the true retro experience, when patience and zeal is the key to beating the game.
Meanwhile, the Demo version is available on Steam and everyone can test their skills before challenging a full version.
Windswept is a story about duck Marbles and turtle Checkers. These two friends are trying to find their way back home, after being swept away by the raging storm. Combining the characters’ unique skills, the players can challenge more than 40 levels. Each location there hides secrets and trials, which can grant additional rewards to those who beat them.
The game has no ‘right’ way to pass through levels, and players can develop their own techniques to overcome different obstacles.
