Wold Flipper is coming to mobiles in September, bringing Kakao games new mobile pinball RPG to iOS and Android in just over a week.

Kakao Games and Tokyo based Cygames have announced the release date for World Flipper. Due to deliver action RPG and pinball mechanics to mobiles on 8 September, World Flipper is a unique mix of retro 2D graphics and some themes that we’ve seen before. The news confirms the global launch of a title that has already impressed in Japan and comes from the same studio that brought us Princess Connect! Re:Dive recently. As another free to play adventure, World Flipper will put players in the role of a character aligned with one of six elements. As they set out into an array of unusual and exciting worlds, plenty of challenges will unfold in a new and unlikely fashion. Everything from the main storyline, event dungeons, and boss battles where up to 3 users can simultaneously move away from traditional turn based strategy in favour of pinball!

It is difficult to describe this new title in words. Thankfully Kakao and Cygames have dropped a new trailer for World Flipper in the hope of adding to the already massive number of pre-registrations. Over the course of three minutes, this new teaser gives us a glimpse of the pinball combat system, combos attacks, and powerful abilities some of these pixel players can unleash. Each new encounter provides a new pinball table to power through, with new mechanics, obstacles, and high scores to rack up on your way to victory.

Over 1 million players put their names to paper since the official website opened pre registrations on 15 July and while this is nothing like Kakao’s Elyon MMORPG and there’s still some time to add your name to the list, grab character tickets and in-game currency, then try out this very different adventure.
