Developer Blizzard Entertainment has taken to the official site to announce that World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery Phase 4 will be arriving on July 11. Players will be able to level to 60, discover new class runes, enter the Molten Core raid dungeon to face Ragnaros, and more.
With level 60, it’s also time to collect Epic Mounts! If you have found yourself falling behind, the Discoverer’s Delight buff got an update as well. Not level 1 to 49 players will receive 150% increased experience, while those of levels 50 to 59 will get 50% increased experience.
Blizzard also revealed that Phase 4 will introduce new and enhanced professions recipes for Argent Dawn, Thorium Brotherhood, Hydraxian Waterlords, and Timbermaw Hold. There is also the new world event: Blackrock Eruption to take advantage of. This timed event occurs every 2 hours with additional creature spawns, daily quests, and bonus honor rewards from PvP within Blackrock Mountain. Increase your reputation with the Thorium Brotherhood and earn access to valuable crafting materials and other rewards.
Speaking of world events, Nightmare Incursions have been updated to daily quest hubs.
The new content will be rolling out in waves, so here’s what you can expect from Phase 4:
- Live on July 11: The level cap increases to level 60 and all remaining quests and zones will be playable.
- Live on July 18: Two world bosses will be accessible via new instance portals: Azuregos, the blue dragon that wanders the southeastern edge of Azshara and Lord Kazzak, the doomlord who patrols the southwestern regions of the Blasted Lands.
- Live on July 25: Molten Core & Onyxia’s Lair open.
