Developer Blizzard Entertainment revealed that WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Edition has kicked off Phase 4. Are you ready to face Hakkar again?
“Within the jungles of Stranglethorn Vale, distant drums beat in an ancient ritual, calling forth the Blood God, Hakkar, to the ancient troll city of Zul’Gurub. Beyond the jungle, ancient emerald dragons rise, the insidious Silithid start to swarm, the most dangerous sport of all gets underway— Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza, and the Tier 0.5 Class Armor Sets (Dungeon Set 2) become available.”
Level 60 adventurers can band into a 20-player raid group to take on this max level instance, filled with rare and epic items. However, before you get to Hakkar, you have to defeat his five high priests and other creatures of Zul’Gurub. Thirteen bosses await you, with four available on a rotating basis as part of the Edge of Madness encounter.
Great rewards await, including five epic pieces of gear that can be earned through quest rewards with enough reputation with the Zandalar Tribe. The most fortunate can also become owners of the rare Swift Razzashi Raptor and Swift Zulian Tiger mounts.
However, the bloody madness of Zul’Gurub is not all that awaits you in Phase 4! The Dragons of Nightmare, corrupted great dragons of the Green Dragonflight, are sighted guarding the portals at the Great Trees. Their strength is formidable, so call upon your allies to challenge them!
Meanwhile, the arid sands of Silithus are shifting. Something is awakening beyond the wall to the south. Aid the Druids of the Cenarion Circle as they delve into the mysteries of the desert and seek answers.
Last but not least, if you are done with the heroics, swap your weapon of preference for the fishing road and head to the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza!
