Developer Blizzard Entertainment shared a new post on the official site to remind WoW Classic players of the ongoing Welcome Back Weekend. Running through May 13th, all gives all players with inactive WoW accounts full access to the WoW Classic progression realms and the characters on those realms without a subscription or Game Time.
If you were looking for an opportunity to reminisce on Cataclysm systems, there’s no better opportunity to do so before the expansion officially arrives. The game is currently going through the Cataclysm pre-patch, having introduced a number of new features and systems. Players now have access to the Goblin and Worgen races as well as new Race and Class combinations. There are also new talent trees, talents, spells, and more to enjoy in addition to the Archaeology profession, Transmog system, and more!
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic expansion arrives on May 20th. It will provide players with 7 new zones, a set of new dungeons and raids, the introduction of the Dungeon Journal feature, and much more. The game will also receive the Boss-based lock system, allowing players to do the 10 or 25-player version of bosses in the same week.
Gather your friends and get started on a new journey through the Cataclysm Classic pre-expansion patch and a changed Azeroth, risen from the fires of destruction.
