Developer Blizzard Entertainment updated the official site of MMORPG World of Warcraft: Dragonflight to introduce players to the new location coming in patch 10.1: Embers of Neltharion. Called the Zaralek Cavern, it will take you deep beneath the Dragon Isles and into a vast underground world. Entrances to Zaralek Cavern lie within the chasm between Valdrakken and Ohn’ahran Plains and are visible on your map. The journey is long, so be sure your drake is well rested.
As an underground complex with with stalagmites and stalactites, it will challenge the drakeriders new and veteran alike. Dive and weave through the passages as you and your dragon navigate this vast underground world. Pay attention as your dragon senses six new Glyphs that will help you expand your Dragonriding skills with two new traits.
The new location contains opportunities to meet both the new allies and the new enemies. The zone serves as the home the Drogbar that could be familiar to Legion players, the busy molefolk Niffen and others. The Zaralek Cavern also houses the new raid with its nine unique bosses: Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible.
“Millennia ago, Neltharion carved chasms in the earth where he conducted world-altering experiments. After his death, these sites were lost to time until now. Forces seeking to claim the Earth-Warder’s legacy raid his dominion in search of powerful artifacts. Now the champions of Azeroth must venture into the darkness and ensure the crucible’s dangerous power doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.”
