Blizzard’s latest WoWCast brings fresh insight into Legion Remix, the upcoming seasonal event re-imagining the Legion expansion with accelerated gameplay, expanded class features, and space-time twists. Hosted by Community Manager Bethany Hudson, the show features deep dives with Content Designer Josh Aaron Miller and Lead Game Producer Ray Bartos.
What Is Legion Remix?
Legion Remix is a time-limited event that lets players experience Legion’s full campaign at a faster-than-retail pace.
- All 12 Legion classes (no Evoker for now)
- 12 dungeons + Karazhan mega-dungeon
- 5 raids
- World Quests, Class Order Halls, Artifact quests, Legion Assaults, Invasion Points, and more
- Biweekly content drops that mirror Classic’s timeline pacing

New Systems & Gameplay Twists
1. Remixed Artifact Weapons
Artifact weapons now have a trait tree (Nature, Fel, Arcane, Storm, or Holy), customizable and fully respecable with the new “Quick Assign” feature. Jewelry and gear lets you shift trait ranks dynamically, allowing flexible builds.
2. Heroic World Tier & Timewarped Obelisks
Outdoor areas get a buffed difficulty tier (think Diablo-style buff phases) with higher rewards. Timewarped Obelisks are scattered around map zones and grant temporary boosts for explorers.
3. Timeworn Keystone Dungeons
Mythic+ style dungeons return, featuring original Legion affixes plus four new Remix-specific “Eternus’s Trials”.
4. Infinite Research System
Players complete daily “Infinites Research” quests, with the ability to bank up to six days. Rewards include bronze currency, buff scrolls, and power gems

Loot & Cosmetics
- Fel-infused class mounts and Azshara-themed robes
- Mannoroth’s Shield & corrupted Varian’s swords
- Recolors of old favorites like the Scythe of the Unmaker
- Legacy rewards such as Violet Spellwing, Shackled Ur’zul, and Xavius’s Shoulders
- New titles like Chronoscholar, the Infernal, and of the Infinite Chaos

QOL Updates
- Five new character slots per account (up to 70 total). Ideal for alt-aholics!
- Instant transfers to live WoW at the end of Remix. However, these characters are stripped of Remix progress in exchange for level-appropriate gear and mail-delivered legacy loot.
Final Take
