Developer Blizzard Entertainment shared a new blog post dedicated to WoW Midnight Season 1: raids, Mythic+, PvP, and more.
“Enter The Voidspire in Voidstorm, The Dreamrift in Harandar, and March on Quel’Danas in Eversong Woods, undertake Mythic dungeons, face new world bosses, engage in PvP, and more during the first season of Midnight.”
The content unlocks according to the following schedule:
- Week of March 17: The Voidspire (Normal, Heroic, and Raid Finder Wing 1) & the Dreamlift (Normal, Heroic, Raid Finder Wing 1) unlock. Additionally, Midnight Delves Season 1 Tier 8+, Heroic and Mythic 0 Dungeons (the latter move to a daily reset), World Bosses, Prey Nightmare Difficulty, PvP Season 1 begins.
- Week of March 24: Mythic+ Keystones are available; The Voidspire – Mythic, Raid Finder Wing 2, and Story Mode; The Dreamrift – Mythic; Delves: The Darkway.
- March 31: The Voidspire – Raid Finder Wing 3; March on Quel’Danas – Normal, Heroic, and Mythic; Delves: Parhelion Plaza;
- April 7: March on Quel’Danas – Raid Finder and Story Mode.
Completing the March on Quel’Danas raid on Mythic difficulty has a chance to award the Ashes of Belo’ren mount. One of Al’ar’s last clutch, Belo’ren was taken to the Isle of Quel’Danas and raised to defend the Sunwell from any who would threaten it with his very life. It is said that death will never claim him.
The following dungeons take part in the Mythic+ rotation:
- Magisters’ Terrace (Midnight)
- Maisara Caverns (Midnight)
- Nexus-Point Xenas (Midnight)
- Windrunner Spire (Midnight)
- Algeth’ar Academy (Dragonflight)
- Pit of Saron (Wrath of the Lich King)
- Seat of the Triumvirate (Legion)
- Skyreach (Warlords of Draenor)
Attaining a Mythic+ Rating of at least 2000 will grant players Calamitous Carrion mount; earning at least 2500 will provide armor visual effect Greaming Sunmote; while receiveing at least 3000 rating will award the Convalescent Carrion mount. Last but not least, end Midnight Season 1 with a Mythic+ Rating in the top 0.1% of all players in your region to earn the title “the Umbral Hero”.
Players can also gain access to Dungeon portals for each of the eight dungeons when they complete Mythic 10 or higher within the time limit.
Delves Season 1
There are a few achivements that you might want to complete before the start of Season 2:
- My Shady Nemesis: Defeat Nulleaus in his lair before the release of the next season of Delves. Rewards Nullaeus Domaneye helmet.
- Lighting the Dark: Defeat Nulleaus in his lair on Tier ?? before the release of the next season of delves. Reward: “the Ominous” Title.
- Let Me Solo Him: Defeat Nullaeus in his lair on Tier ?? without any other players in your party before the release of the next season of delves. Grants Arcanovoid Construct mount.
Last but not least: Midnight PvP Season 1
The season brings a new PvP ladder, increased item level gear, fresh rewards, a new weapon illusion, tabard, cloak, pennant, and more. Bloody Tokens are now obtainable and can be used to purchase War Mode gear.
- Combatant I: Midnight Season 1 (1000): Cloak
- Combatant II: Midnight Season 1 (1200): Legs, Bracers
- Challenger I: Midnight Season 1 (1400): Gloves, Boots
- Challenger II: Midnight Season 1 (1600): Chest, Belt
- Rival I: Midnight Season 1 (1800): Shoulder, Helm
- Rival II: Midnight Season 1 (1950): Weapon Illusion
- Duelist: Midnight Season 1 (2100): Prestige Cloak
- Elite: Midnight Season 1 (2400+): Galactic Gladiator’s Tabard
- Vicious Snaplizard Mount: Earned as part of the Galactic Combatant Achievement—win Rated PvP matches during Season 1 while at 1000 rating or higher. These mounts come in an Alliance and Horde version, with faction-colored armor.
- Galactic Gladiator’s Goredrake Mount: Win 50 games as a Gladiator in Midnight Season in 3v3. These mounts come in an Alliance and Horde version.
