Developer Blizzard Entertainment shared a new blog post that contains a sneak peek at the tuning and class update roadmap as the devs prepare to launch WoW: Midnight – Season 1.
When the expansion launches on March 2nd, it will increase the maximum level cap from 80 to 90, and players will gain access to the new Apex Talents and their additional talent points as they level toward 90. The developers will also be paying close attention to class performance to identify any emergent pain points and make changes during the major content patches.
The next tuning pass is expected to arrive with the Midnight Season 1 launching on March 17. The next pass will follow immediately afterward, utilizing data gathered from the first Heroic difficulty week, with the changes going live at the launch of Mythic raid difficulty and Mythic+ on March 24.
The developers will continue monitoring spec performance based on data gathered during the starting weeks of Mythic difficulty for Season 1 and the March on Quel’Danas available the week of March 31.
