Developer Blizzard Entertainment welcomes heroes of Azeroth to take part in the WoW: Midnight pre-expansion event, The Twilight Ascension, kicking off today, January 27, and running until the launch of Midnight on March 2.
Alliance players can start their journey by talking with Magister Umbric in Stormwind, while the Horde players get to meet Grand Magister Rommath in Orgrimmar in order to proceed. Did you know the two have history and had been friends once?
“Travel to the Twilight Highlands to push back the threat of the Twilight’s Blade cult and stop them from summoning more forces by disrupting their rituals and defeating rare enemies across the highlands. Available to characters level 10 and above, you’ll also take on World Quests and reap the rewards of a job well done during this repeatable event.”
Thwarting the new threat will award the Twilight’s Blade Tabard on the first completion for your Warband along with the title “Definitely Not a Cultist.” Take part in the two additional weekly quests Disrupt the Call and Twilight’s Dawn, Twilight Highlands World Quests, and defeat rare enemies to disrupt the rituals of the Twilight’s Blade cult and earn the new currency, Twilight Blade Insignias.
The Insignias can be used to purchase items from the vendors at the Ascension Base Camp in Twilight Highlands, including new armor sets for each armor type, pets, weapons, mount, and more.
