The dawn of Midnight is almost upon us, with the newest World of Warcraft expansion launching on March 2, 2026, at 3:00 pm PST. But there is still time before you have to venture to Quel’thalas to save the Sunwell, and it’s the perfect moment to wrap up some TWW activities.
Once Midnight launches, some achievements will become unavailable or much harder to acquire, so let’s get over these first:
- Mana-Forge Omega Heroic – the Royal Voidwing mount from Dimensius, the All-Devouring, will no longer be available.
- Mana-Forge Omaga Mythic – The Unbound Star-Eater mount will have its drop rate significantly reduced.
- A number of Tazavesh achievements will be going away, including Hard Mode: Tazavesh, the Veiled Market; Flawless Transaction.
- The Unbound Dungeon Master achievement (completing all seasonal dungeons at Mythic Keystone level 10 or higher within the time limit as a tank, healer, and damage dealer) will be unavailable. And so will the associated title “Triple Threat”.
- The War Within Keystone Explorer/Conqueror/Master/Hero achievements will become unavailable.
- To earn the achievements My Stab-Happy Nemesis & Pruning the Princess, you have to defeat Nexus-Princess Ky’veza in her lair before the release of the next season of delves.
With the launch of Midnight seasonal delve currencies—Undercoin, Restored Coffer Keys, Untainted Mana‑Crystals—will be converted into Resonance Crystals. Items formerly purchased with Undercoin will move to Reno Jackson in Dornogal for Resonance Crystals. Delver’s Journey rewards will also be available through Reno for Resonance Crystals.
The experience increase buff event, Winds of Mysterious Fortune, goes away on February 22. Until then, it’s the perfect time to level up your alts and get accustomed to the newest Class changes. The pre-expansion event, Twilight Ascension, wraps up on March 2nd. Any event Housing items will be purchasable from Silvermoon once Midnight launches.
