Developer Blizzard Entertainment revealed the release date for World of Warcraft: The War Within, the latest expansion to cult MMORPG. The Worldsoul saga kicks off on August 26. Heed the call and explore the depths of Khaz Algar.

The War Within marks the return of several familiar figures, both friends and foes. Xal’athath, Harbinger of the Void and Shadow Priests’ treacherous Knaifu, invites a new era of the Void’s machinations. She struck a deal with the Nerubian queen Ansurek, granting her people the means of a dark evolution. The heroes will have to face a mighty stronghold of the Nerubians all beefed up on the Void juice.
Meanwhile, Anduin Wrynn, Thrall, Magni Bronzebeard, and Alleria Windrunner are rising to answer the call of the Radiant Song. There will be many unique challenges for this group yet. Are you ready to see them through?

- The Beta is now live. Upgrade to the Epic Edition to receive guaranteed access.
- August 22 marks the beginning of the Early Access.
- The official launch arrives on August 26.
