Developer Blizzard Entertainment shared the latest teaser for World of Warcraft: The War Within, dedicated to the upcoming content update 11.2: Ghosts of K’aresh. Arriving August 5th, it continues a storyline that started all the way in The Burning Crusade: namely, Void Lord Dimensius the All-Devouring.
At some point, the Void Lord opened countless gateways into the Void and the Twisting Nether around K’aresh, the homeworld of the race that would become Ethereals due to the flood of energy surrounding the planet. Now, the time has come to act to defeat this ancient, powerful foe. But to stand even a chance against its might, players need equally powerful – and unexpected – allies.
Are you ready to make a deal with the devil to save K’aresh and all the worlds in existence? Who can you really trust to stand firm against the darkness ahead? Unravel the mystery, deny the void and fight against Dimensius in this epic continuation of The War Within story in Patch 11.2, Ghosts of K’aresh!
Ghosts of K’aresh Features:
- New Raid: Manaforge Omega. You’ll join with your allies to ultimately fight Dimensius in a cosmic battle of truly epic proportions to stave off what could be the end of Azeroth as we know it.
- New Upgradeable Artifact: Reshii Wraps. It will upgrade and include new visuals as you progress through content.
- Phase Diving. Enter untethered space by using your Reshii Wraps to experience a whole new aspect of K’aresh. You’ll experience new creatures, objectives, world quests, and some new mechanics all within this overlay of the world.
