Developer Kuro Games invites all Rovers to attend a public lecture held in Lahai-Roi’s Startorch Academy. Held by professor Mornye, it goes over the importance of the Exostrider’s Reactor Drive to the continuous survival of the region. Were it to go out, Lahai-Roi’s thermal balance and ecosystem will likely suffer a collapse. So one of the goals of the Startorch Academy is to find an alternative – an “artificial sun”, so to speak.
Other students besides the delinquent Lynae seem to be quite into the professor’s explanation – even if much of it goes over their heads.
Speaking of the Exostrider, Lahai-Roi is built on its remains. Centuries ago, both a calamity and the Exostrider emerged in Lahai-Roi from deep underground. The Frostlands caved in, devouring all lifeforms and erasing every sign of their existence. In the darkness, the Exostrider swung its greatsword to seal off the calamity. It drew the fiery Reactor Drive from its chest and lifted that undying light high up to the skies.
