Developer Kuro Games is back with a couple of new story cinematics for Wuthering Waves, featuring Iuno, the fearless priestess of Septimont that set out to challenge the fate and change its outcome. How successful or unsuccesful she were is explored in the latest main story quest ‘By Moon’s Fated Light’, available now.
“The moon will fall no more, for she knows every arrow she lets loose will find its mark.”
Iuno is blessed with the infallible ability to see the future by studying how moonlight changes. But blessings can be curses by another name, some may say. And they may be correct, but Iuno is not one to bow to conventions. She strives to bring variation to the constants of fate, the way she brought moonlight to set against daylight. Through the seasons, the moon moves, sometimes stuck in stasis and always trapped in a cycle… until it’s anchored by Iuno and finally given renewal.
In combat, Iuno plays the role of the support. She deals high Resonance Liberation damage, heals Resonators in her team, and grants damage amplification to Resonators who gain a shield. Alongside the Heavy Attack Damage amplification from her Outro Skill, it makes her a perfect support for Augusta.
“That is a future glimpsed a thousand times, one which is absolutely correct, yet completely meaningless.”
