Wuthering Waves is in for its first major update on June 28th. Version 1.1: ‘Thaw of Eons’ arrives with a new playable Spectro Resonator Jinshi, new location, and a bunch of new playable content. To celebrate the occasion, the team shared the special trailer you can find above.
Jinshi is a magistrate Jinzhou that has a special connection with Jué, the Sentinel of Jinzhou. This majestic deity has unquestionable power. The only certainty is that the Sentinel will finally manifest itself on Mt. Firmament, situated on the southeastern ocean of Jinzhou. Coincidentally, that is the new area coming in Version 1.1.
Rumors suggest that the Mt. Firmament operates under abnormal temporal mechanics, where time flows significantly slower than in the outside world. Several months spent on the mountain equals hundreds of years passing elsewhere.
