In January, the biggest update yet will also invite a whole new audience. Version 2.0 and PS5 Version is set for its grand debut on January 2, 2025. The new main quest, new characters and companion stories, fresh mechanics and more await, and it’s time to spread your wings.
Rinascita is a nation of independent city-states scattered across a vast archipelago, with no single administrative center. Legends speak of the founders, who fled their homeland and sailed to these islands to escape the Lament, and were guided by their Sentinel to settle on these islands.

Wuthering Waves – Version 2.0 Optimizations:
- Rover Appearance Switch – You can now switch your Rover’s appearance in Settings. You can make one switch every 24 hours.
- Synthesis on the Go – the Synthesis feature is now accessible from Terminal page.
- Main Quest Fast Track – After completing Main Quest ‘Chapter I Act III’, you can directly head to Rinascita and experience the latest Version 2.0 story quest.
- Immersion Mode – enable Immersion Mode in Settings to temporarily hide user interface, offering you a more immersive experience.
- Smoother Exploration Experience – in Rinascita, you will be able to access a new Utility tool: Flight.
- Boss Challenges Early Access – from the Guidebook, you can now gain early access to Boss Challenges that drop Ascension materials and Skill Upgrade materials you need for Resonators in the current Featured Resonator Convenes.
- Archive of Melodies – Visit the Aria Mummers in Rinascita to access the Archive of Melodies feature, allowing you to change the background music that plays while you’re in the vicinity of this type of Echo.
