Today, developers of the open world action RPG Wuthering Waves held a special broadcast about the upcoming 2.6 version of the game. Kuro games prepared many surprises and a huge amount of new content alongside with the new optimization features. But, let’s start from the beginning.
Accepting the Septimont Ephor’s invitation, Rovers will have to join the Great Hunt and embark on a journey to the Sanguis Plateaus. Alongside with Augusta and Iuno, the heroes will have to prove the prophecies wrong and save the Septimiont from the inevitable fall. Here in the last frontier against Dark Tide, the fates of the entire region will be decided.
2.6 version of the game brings two new parts to the main story. Chapter II Act VII “By Sun’s Burning Hand” and Chapter II Act IX “By Moon’s fated Light”. These quests will be released separately. First comes with the update released on August 28th, while the second arrives on September 17.
Update bring the new location to explore – Sanguis Plateaus. Magnifcent and solemn zone filled with Remnant Energy. Everything there serves as a proof of Septimon’s lifelong battle against the Dark Tide.
When it comes to Echo pull expansion, the 2.6 version promises to bring three new echoes: Corrosaurus, The False Sovereign, and Lady of the Sea. Moreover, some old echoes will receive a nightmare form. These new versions of old units will be available to hunt in the additional Nightmare Nest locations added in the update.
3 New echoes added to the echo pull and some of the existing get the nightmare version. Look out for the new Sonata sets: Crown of Valor & Law of Harmony!

- Moonlit Revelation – Lunar Phase divination Event. Along with Iuno unveil the revelations hidden within Septimont’s lunar phases.
- Beyond the Waves: Rinascita – Featured exploration event.
- Back to Solaris – Returnee event. Invite your friends back to Solaris.
- Gift of the Moon Roamer – time limited Login Event offering 10 Radiant Tides and 10 Forging Tides.

Optimization Improvements:
- Added a new Gallery category: Weapons. In future updates, developers plant to add an Echo category.
- Reward collection now doesn’t require separate clicking – all rewards are gathered in one click.
- Updated Graphics Technology Support on PC for all devices and improvement of DLSS 4 support of NVIDIA
- PC version of the game receives a short-cut options for different features and menu windows.
- Tower of Adversity, Whimpering Waves and Fantasies of Thousand Gateways receive reward, interface and unlock conditions optimization.
- Starting from 2.6, mineral collecting spots will be displayed.
- Lootmapper detection rage increased
- Improvement of exploration experience in older regions.
