SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio revealed more details about upcoming Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. This time they presented a brand-new trailer, dedicated to the mini-games and side activities in the orphanage. The life of the legendary yakuza was never so difficult. This time his opponents are not tough bandits or rival organizations, but a bunch of kids who want to play, need to eat and ask for help.
After the events of Yakuza 2 Kiryuu retired as a yakuza and found a peaceful life on Okinawa. There he lives with his adopted daughter Haruka, while running an orphanage. While the plot of the remake repeats the original game, the side activities received a grand expansion. The developers prepared many new mini-games, including cooking, sewing, homework and even butterfly catching. Every challenge is more difficult than anything Kiryuu faced before. Moreover, each of the kids received a short personal story quest, uncovering their past.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties comes to PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series и Nintendo Switch 2. Aside from the original story, the game offers a new look at the event from the Yoshitaka Mine’s side. The game is available for prepurchase in both Standard and Deluxe Editions. Recently, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio released a playable Demo for players to learn more about the legendary franchise.
