Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has revealed the date and time for release of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties Demo. The players will be able to experience the first hours of the action adventure starting on 21 2026 at 7 a.m. PT on Steam followed by consoles at 9 p.m. PT. Along with the announcement, the developers presented a new gameplay trailer, featuring combat mechanics and main skills. The Demo is completely free, giving everyone a chance to dice into the legendary franchise.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties Demo offers a preview of the two games which comes together:
- Yakuza Kiwami 3: Offers to step into shoes of Kazuma Kiryu as he explores Ryukyu, Okinawa. The players can experience dynamic combat by switching between his brutal Dragon of Dojima: Kiwami style and a new weapon-based Ryukyu fighting style. The demo also includes some side activities like karaoke, sub-stories, and outfit customization.
- Dark Ties: Play a segment of an all-new story featuring Yoshitaka Mine. Explore Kamurocho and its side content while mastering Mine’s unique shoot-boxing combat to stylishly defeat enemies.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties launches February 12, 2026 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. The game is available for pre-purchase. Those who secure their copy early will unlock the “Legendary Lad: Ichiban Kasuga” bonus. It will add the protagonist from Yakuza: Like a Dragon as a playable character in the Ryukyu Gal Gang side mode.
