Developer HoYoverse is back with Agent Mechanics for Trigger, the upcoming S-rank Electric Stun character in Zenless Zone Zero. Working in the same squad as Soldier 11, she is the eye of OBOL, guarding her companions’ backs and delivering powerful shots from beyond the battlefield.
Trigger is an agent who can rapidly Stun enemies through off-field Aftershocks, while significantly increasing their Stun Damage Multiplier both before and after the target is Stunned. By accumulating Purge or entering Coordinated Support, she can launch multiple Aftershock attacks when other active characters in the team hit enemies.
When another character in your squad is an Attack character or shares the same Attribute (Electric), she activates her additional ability. When Trigger’s Critical Rate exceeds a certain threshold, each 1% Critical Rate above it will increase her Daze dealt by Aftershocks.
Naturally, she makes a perfect companion for Soldier 0: Anby, who not only activates her additional ability, but also increases the damage of all Aftershocks with her mark. She can also make an interesting addition to Yanagi for a full mono Electric team.
Trigger’s debut banner kicks off in Version 1.6 Phase 2 alongside the first rerun of Zhu Yuan. The future patch will introduce Vivian (Ether Anomaly) and Hugo Vlad (Ice Attack). Check out the HoYoLAB page to learn more.
