Zenless Zone Zero - Phoenix and Severian Join the Cast

Developers of urban action Zenless Zone Zero are back with the glimpse of things to come. Among them, two new characters that will be joining the roster in the future update: Phoenix Reffaella (S-rank Fire Anomaly) and Severian Lowell (S-rank Wind Attack). Both characters are familiar faces by now, and, belonging to different factions, promise exciting story developments in the future.

Prepare your Polychromes for Version 3.3!

Phoenix Reffaella (S-rank Fire Anomaly)

Move aside, Burnice, Phoenix is here to reheat your nuggets!

Phoenix is one of Krampus Compliance Authority’s Judges… of sorts. Zhao believes that aside from the boss no one in Krampus can beat the girl. But if she were to be bestowed with a shiny title like the “Unbeaten Legend”, she’d probably be knocked right off her already unsteady feet.

Dialyn adds that hanging out with Phoenix means walking into unexpected situations. That’s why you’ve got to bring Zhao along, Krampus’ specialist in handing all sorts of unexpected situations.

“… Based on existing experimental data, we can infer that the subject is unable to die. Once their vitals begin to decline, the subject’s body passively draws upon concentrated Ether energy reserves, entering a state of ‘transcendence’…” – Unknown.

Severian Lowell (S-rank Wind Attack)

PubSec Commissioner, Cissia’s Demon Lord and Seth’s older brother, Severian is quite the character.

Cissia swears that the man doesn’t know how to smile – though he certainly has an idea how to smirk when he’s teasing his brother. Even Krampus doesn’t want to cross Severian, going so far as to print “avoid conflict with this individual” in the biggest, bolded red text in his personal files. AND repeated three times just to make sure.

Despite getting scolded for being rash, Zhu Yuan seems appreciative of Severian. She also swears he might be watering her tomatoes and Qinqyi’s plants when everyone’s out on field duty – but she can’t exactly prove it.

“Public Security Commissioner, Severian Lowell. No need for pleasantries — what’s the situation?” – Severian Lowell
