Developer HoYoverse shared a closer look at Zenless Zone Zero’s new region, Roscaelifer, by releasing gameplay demo and the blog post on the five central departments.
In the 10 minutes-long deep dive above, you can glimpse Roscaelifer in all of its splendor: new NPCs, buildings, Bangboo, flying cars, Belle’s outfit, exploration, combat, and much more. You can also see Pyrois, Velina and Norma in action!
Roscaelifer is an idyllic island froating above New Eridu, a classified airspace zone completely outside the city’s jurisdiction. It runs on the coordinated effort of five major departments:
- External Strategy Department (ESD) is responsible for connecting Roscaelifer with New Eridu and providing technical support for Bangboo. In New Eridu, it operates under the name of “Marcel Group”. Directed by Velina Airgid, the hand that reaches to the outside world, providing the Carrot while keeping the island’s secrets locked tight.
- Flint Workshop – Porcelloy equipment research and manufacturing center, dedicated to the production and development of all kinds of Porcelloy goods. Most Void Hunter weapons were created by the memners of the Flint family. Director: Claret Flint, the forge of Roscaelifer that uses her bloodline as the flames to cast the blade that guards the world.
- Central Computing Department (CCD), responsible for deciphering the underlying laws of the Hollow and generating one-of-a-kind “Hollow master data” – the Rosetta Data, before it is converted into usable Carrots. Director: Dracaene Sunbringer, the compass that guides humanity out of the Hollow with her own hands.
- Airspace Patrol Department (APD), the official armed force of Roscaelifer – military, security and disaster relief all rolled into one. Directed by Lindverne Sunbringer, the guardian of the island of miracles and the beacon that brings warmth to all.
- Administrative Affairs Department (AAD) – internal supreme governing body of Roscaelifer. They make the rules, coordinate the departments, and hold the ultimate decision-making power. Directed by Eldreda Sunbringer, the silent leader that safeguards the deepest secrets.
