The developers of urban aRPG Zenless Zone Zero are back with more details about Hugo Vlad. This time, his abilities and W-Engine got some special attention. Just what you need before his debut banner kicks off in Version 1.7 Phase 2 on May 14! You can also pick up Robin, Mockingbird’s S-rank Bangboo whose abilities change depending on the party composition.

Hugo wields a suitcase that transforms into a sharp scythe, carving through enemies with slashes and devastating area sweeps. Additionally, he uses a unique mechanic called Totalize. When a target enemy is Stunned, using certain skills will trigger Totalize effect, ending the target’s Stunned state and dealing massive damage based on the remaining Stunned duration while accumulating Daze, He can also chain ranged shots after certain skills.
His additional ability is called Prelude to Finality. When another Agent with Stun specialty or Ice attribute is in your squad, Hugo’s Chain Attack deals increased damage, with additional damage boost against normal enemies. When Totalize effect is triggered, the skill’s damage is increased. When EX Special Attack triggers Totalize effect on normal enemies, Hugo recovers additional Energy. This recovery effect can only be triggered once within a certain period.
His signature S-rank W-Engine, Myriad Eclipse provides a ton of Crit Rate, Crit Damage, DEF ignore and high base Attack.
