Developer HoYoverse had been on hand during Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3 special program to share the first juicy details of the upcoming story, the new banners, new Agents’ gameplay overview, and more. The upcoming patch, Memories of Dreams Bygone, will leave the Defense Force and Obol Squad behind and return its focus to the Spook Shack. Proxies will get to meet two new members: Lucia (S-rank Ether Support) and Yidhari (S-rank Ice Rupture), as well as finally recruit Manato (A-rank Fire Rupture).
Ghost stories echo through the abandoned ruins in the Hollow, including the newly revealed Timesworn Hills region, known for its abundant Lumite ore deposits. Whispers tel of the miners who had vanished within the Miasma, the tolling of a phantom bell, creatures that gaze into people’s hearts and hypnotize their victims. In order to find the missing miners, Proxies will join forces with Spook Shack once more, and set out into the Hollow.

Lucia, an S-Rank Ether Support Agent and devoted Ethereal fan, wields dreamlike powers to recreate Ethereals in combat. By accumulating Dream Points, she can enter a Dream state and unleash Ether Veil: Wellspring, boosting all allies’ max HP while enhancing team damage through increased Sheer Force and triggering Aftershocks.
Komano Manato, now joining the battlefield as an A-Rank Fire Rupture Agent, unleashes Sheer DMG with strikes that scale from his max HP. Note that you will be able to get a free copy of Manato for participating and completing the requirements of a certain event.

Yidhari, an S-Rank Ice Rupture Agent, embodies both risk and resilience. She gains Sheer Force based on her max HP, and her ice attacks always inflict Sheer DMG, piercing through enemy defenses. Her damage increases as her HP percentage drops, rewarding a delicate balance of HP loss and recovery.
