Developer HoYoverse kicks off the second half of Version 2.7 in Zenless Zone Zero later today, the exact timing of the update depends on your chosen region.
The new phase means the arrival of new banners – both the brand-new character, Cissia, and the first rerun for Seed – and new events. Starting today, April 15th, players can check in to obtain a total of Boopon x10 as well as take part in the new event “Old Friends, New Commissions”.
Once the event begins, Proxies can access the checklist made by Fairy through the laptop in the video store workshop and complete commissions from some old friends. The event commissions will be unlocked over time. Complete them to obtain Polychromes, Boopons, and upgrade materials as rewards.
In just 3 weeks, Version 2.8 will arrive with Promeia in the first half and Starlight Billy in the 2nd.
Zenless Zone Zero – Version 2.7 Phase II Banners Feature:
- S-rank characters: Cissia (Electric Attack) & Seed (Electric Attack)
- S-rank W-Engnes: Serpentine Seeker (Attack) & Cordis Germina (Attack)
- A-rank characters: Pulchra (Physical Stun), Ben (Fire Defense)
- A-rank W-Engines: Boxcutter (Stun), Big Cylinder (Defense)
Cissia of the Metropolitan Order Division will also enter the race with her distinctive combat style. As an S-Rank Electric Attack agent, Cissia gains three stacks of Venom upon entering battle, with each stack of Venom dealing Electric damage while temporarily increasing her own CRIT Rate. Although Venom gradually dissipates over time, Cissia can generate additional stacks through her EX Special Attack.
As the stacks accumulate, she may expend them with her Basic Attack: Serpent’s Kiss, unleashing bursts of damage at critical moments.
