Developer HoYoverse is back with a new animated short film dedicated to Ye Shunguang – the newest Void Hunter arriving in Zenless Zone Zero in Version 2.5. That light that illuminates and burns only sketches the world’s silhouette, never asking if anyone deserves to be illuminated.

In the upcoming V2.5: To Be Fuel for the Night, players will continue pursuing Sarah who had since merged with the Creator, while Ye Shiyuan and Ye Shunguang have their own challenges to undergo. Meanwhile, Youkai – one of the four great AI – makes a triumphant comeback, we finally get a chance to meet Mayor Mayflower, and learn more about Carole Arna.
The version’s central character, Ye Shunguang, rises as the first dual-form Void Hunter. She is the chosen user of the cursed blade, Qingming Sword, using its tremendous might in exchange for a steep price: losing her memories, feelings, and the sense of self. With her unique attribute Honed Edge, Ye Shunguang can enter the Enlightened Mind state and activate her signature Ether Veil to unleash massive Honed Edge damage while applying a vulnerability effect to enemies.
