Developer HoYoverse shared the latest Zenless Zone Zero Yixuan cutscene. In it, the Grandmaster and the disciples of Yunkui Summit are coming to the people’s aid. Note that it takes place well into the latest main story quest chain, so avoid watching if you haven’t gotten that far and care about spoilers!
“On the night of the old capital’s fall eleven years ago, Yunkui Summit answered the call and left the mountain to save lives. We did it then, and tonight… we shall do it again.”

Yunkui Summit and their mystic arts were irreplaceable during the abrupt expansion of Hollow Zero in Eridu. Together with the members of the Defense Force and many others, the disciples of the temple were on the front lines to fight against the spreading corruption. Still, despite their bravery and expertise, a lot of lives were lost or knowingly sacrificed to stop the expansion of the Hollow. That includes Yijiang, Yixuan’s older sister and the previous master of the Yunkui Summit.
Now, Yixuan is the one saving the world, just like her sister wanted.
If you didn’t pull yet, Yixuan’s debut banner is available right now. She is our first Rupture agent, possessing the special element of Auric Ink (a sort of special Ether, just like Miyabi wields special Ice). Grandmaster Yixuan ignores enemies’ Defense and deals all damage based on her Sheer Force, which can be increased according to her Attack and Max HP.
She also utilizes a special mechanic called Adrenaline instead of just regular Energy, and possesses 2 distinct Ultimate modes for varied combat scenarios, bringing Void Hunter-level prowess to the team. Also stepping into the spotlight is Pan Yinhu, Yunkui Summit’s A-Rank Physical Defense Agent, who proves that even a kitchen-savvy panda can be a force to reckon with.
